Okay. Serious need of an update here. And, depending on how things go, it might be my last. That isn't to say I'll be gone, it'll just mean... things are different.
First things first, I'm attending my first choice college, University of California- Irvine, as a Pharmaceutical Sciences. It's a great school... if not overpriced. Tuition's been skyrocketing for the UC system, and right now it's at around $4,300. Per. Quarter. There's three quarters. You can do the math.
Gaming... well, due to my beefed-up laptop, I've finally been able to play Fallout 3. So, while a good population of gamers are going, "FUS DO RAH," I am going "War, war never changes". Yeah, pathetic. But it's still Fallout 3!
Lastly, and this is some pretty serious business... what I've been up to.
And the answer?
Ponies.
Yeah. I'm one of them. I'm a brony. Say what you will. Those who care don't matter and those who matter don't care. But whatever the case is, due to brony policy, I am obliged to love and tolerate the shit out of you regardless.
I've honestly been one since March when a friend talked me into trying it out. I've been hooked by it ever since, namely due to the fact that the main characters aren't just two-dimensional.
But anways, what does this have to do with what I've been up to? Well, let's just say it started when I decided to take a look at a gem called
Fallout: Equestria.
And a gem called
Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons.
Well, I've been sucked into the universe Kkat created, and it inspired me to take up writing again. In secret, of course... my parents seem none the wiser. Having the majority of my schoolwork linked to computer-related activities helps.
And so I'm currently well over 130 pages into my most recent work,
Fallout: Equestria- The Last Sentinel. It's obviously a side-story of Kkat's work, and it's also my first real experience with using the first-person narrative. I won't be posting it here, sadly. It will be posted on fimfiction.net (namely here:
[link]). I know I've gained my watchers through science-fiction and/or Star Fox. I don't ask for any of you to take a look. That said, if you're interested... well, I certainly won't stop you. Feedback is always appreciated in that event, and should you prefer not to create an account there or comment anonymously, then via note or here or somewhere is acceptable.
So that's what I've been up to. That's what I'm doing.
And who knows? I might decide to make some artwork for my new story.
Stay frosty, folks.
